Rippon Building

Rippon building, named after Lord Rippon, is the head quarters of the Corporation of Chennai. It is located to the west of Chennai Central Station. This white building is a major tourist attraction. This was built in 1913 by CLT Griffith, JE Hensman, EP Richard and James R Court. The building is influenced by Gothic, Ionic and Corinthian architecture.
